PhD student in CS

UC Irvine

I am a PhD student in the Distributed Systems and Middleware Group (DSM) and the Information Systems Group (ISG) at the University of California, Irvine, where I am advised by Professor Nalini Venkatasubramanian. My research lies at the intersection of Human Mobility Modeling, Cyber-Physical Systems, Disaster Resilience, and Smart Communities. My current work focuses on modeling accessible multimodal mobility for diverse populations and developing data-driven methods to support disaster preparedness and emergency response.

Prior to UCI, I earned a BSc in Architecture and Urban Planning and an MSc in Urban Planning from Federal Fluminense University (UFF), advised by Professor Vinicius Netto. My master’s research investigated the relationship between urban dynamics and crime patterns through network analysis of crime types, victims, and spatial patterns in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
